The display on my clock is far too bright

I get jealous, of people who can just close their eyes and to my surprise in the blink of an eye, no lies there away in the land of lullabies.
I’m so tired by I’m lying awake and for goodness sake, I need to give my head a shake did I make a mistake, every action of the day a lie and contemplate.

Now I’m starting to get a little agitated
tossing and turning getting me frustrated
surely it shouldn’t be so complicated
no thoughts have vacated my mind
My head is been invaded
Ideas keep me motivated
My brain is been saturated
I better write this down before it’s all evaporated.
