No Demons 03:30
It was a hot summers day in a suburban town, Sticking to the tarmac, the sun beatin down, It must have been a weekend cause he was allowed to take his three wheeler and cycle around. Stay near the house be careful by the road don't go past the street sign is what he was told. He can't be that old maybe four, five or six, His whole life ahead of him, he's happy with this. LIFE IS SO INNOCENT, LIFE IS SO SWEET, HE AINT GOT NO DAEMONS, NO DEVIL IS HE. From a working class family with no pressure from church. No bounds by religion for all that its worth. Just started school, play time and crafts. He got his first big book on simplest maths. He knows the difference from make believe and real Doesn't play plastic kitchen plastic kitchen, Helps his mam cook a meal. The oven is he knows not to touch but he still burns his fingers cause of curiosities thrust. LIFE IS SO INNOCENT, LIFE IS SO SWEET, HE AINT GOT NO DAEMONS, NO DEVIL IS HE. Then came a day, when he was nearly seven. He told his mam “nanas gone to heaven” How did he know this? he was outside. When she got the phone call, He didn't know that she cried. LIFE IS SO INNOCENT, LIFE IS SO SWEET, HE AINT GOT NO DAEMONS, NO DEVIL IS HE.

I've grown up now mam I'm nearly sixteen. Things are different now you don't know what I mean. I'm older I like girls and football. I know how to fight even though I'm not tall. The Streets are where I roam, I know where to find a brawl. I'm not aggressive, you don't know me at all. Some say I should go kick boxing to calm me down and my only ambition is been the hardest kid in town. YOU DON'T THAT MUCH ABOUT GROWING UP Then one day I finally met my match. Some kid with a sovereign hit me in a flash. I felt wet on my face, put my tong in the gash, Blood dripped out my mouth and went splash on the path. But that was not it, I was not done. I wiped my face and said lets have some fun. I raised my fist the kid started to run. Then I fainted on the floor and the fight was done. YOU DON'T THAT MUCH ABOUT GROWING UP I guess I better give this kick boxing a go them kids better watch out they don't know what I know. I put on some gloves to get my anger out, When I'm beating a bag I don't need to scream and shout. I don't need to leave a victim on the floor in a state, Covered in blood filled with violence and hate. In fact I'm a lot calmer I'm starting to feel great. My instructor even taught me how to meditate. YOU DON'T THAT MUCH ABOUT GROWING UP Now wait a minuet, I really don't need hate and violence. I much prefer deep breaths and silence. I feel relaxed, I'm not gritting my teeth, In fact I feel free.

I love that feeling, warms up my bones. I have been hearing, you don't like been alone, So come on now Let's get together, feeling forever. Come run away with me, take my hand and we can be free. BABY I WAS WAITING, WAITING SO LONG. LIVING MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU, I WAS JUST HOLDING ON BABY I WAS WAITING, WAITING SO LONG. LIVING MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU, NOW I KNOW YOUR THE ONE. It feels like I’m dreaming, when we’re alone. And I do believe in, that love you have shown, So come on now We can endeavour, roam to wherever Come hit the road with me, pack your bags and we can be free. BABY I WAS WAITING, WAITING SO LONG. LIVING MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU, I WAS JUST HOLDING ON BABY I WAS WAITING, WAITING SO LONG. LIVING MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU, NOW I KNOW YOUR THE ONE. I feel complete when you hold me close. The road it may bend but I just wont let you go. BABY I WAS WAITING, WAITING SO LONG. LIVING MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU, I WAS JUST HOLDING ON BABY I WAS WAITING, WAITING SO LONG. LIVING MY LIFE WITHOUT YOU, NOW I KNOW YOUR THE ONE.

Well I was walking home today I heard are you going the right way. For a moment I stopped paused I didn't know what to say. My subconscious took over me and it replied yeah mate. I got little further down the street, felt increase in my heart rate. I thought about that voice some more, Thought to my self what was the score. It circled round and round my head until I got to my back door In the glass I saw my vacant stare, Felt the warmth of my own breath. Are these the thoughts I want to have when I go to buy some bread. DO I LIVE IN A CITY THATS BUILT ON OLD TIME DREAMS, AND ARE THE WALLS HOLDING STRONG LIKE THE CRACKS IN OLD PUB BEAMS. When it rains for days on end the river over flows. the tourists get their cameras out The kings Arms gets closed. Take your valuables up your stairs And get some sand bags in. Don't let the cats out on a night if they 'ant learnt to swim. DO I LIVE IN A CITY THATS BUILT ON OLD TIME DREAMS, AND ARE THE WALLS HOLDING STRONG LIKE THE CRACKS IN OLD PUB BEAMS. I still love this city, and now I call it home I feel the ghosts and history, The streets I like to roam. There's a lot of mystery these old buildings hold.

Ghosts On TV 03:51
Leonard Nimoy started a craze in 76 after Star Trek days. That was not just a TV phase, Arthur C Clarke then paved the way. Along came Ghost Watch in 92, was this a live broadcast nobody knew. Then came Aspels Strange But True was it fact or fiction there was no clue. THERE'S GHOSTS ON YOUR TV, UFO'S ON RADIOS. NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE REALITY SHOWS. PHOTOGRAPHS OF POLTERGEISTS. WE LIKE A GOOD FRIGHT. SO LOCK YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS LETS GET FREAKY TONIGHT. After 2000 Yvette was the queen of paranormal TV like no one had seen. When Most Haunted took to the screens. it was every ghost enthusiasts dream. So many people criticised was it all real was it all lies. Stood the test raised public interest, With life after death, people are obsessed. THERE'S GHOSTS ON YOUR TV, UFO'S ON RADIOS. NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE REALITY SHOWS. PHOTOGRAPHS OF POLTERGEISTS. WE LIKE A GOOD FRIGHT. SO LOCK YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS LETS GET FREAKY TONIGHT. Ancient Aliens came on TV. Chariots Of The Gods struck a chord with me. Questions are asked, did aliens leave Signs on the Earth for us all to see Was God an astronaut? That's some serious food for thought. Think about it with a modern mind. It’s written in religion God's came from the skys.

Got Enough 02:02
Financial decline but I won't buy no cheap wine. I'll stick to real ale, buy my food in the sale. Two for one on bacon, I'll buy my bread to freeze. You Can't keep me out the pub or put me down on my knees. When I wake up and find my trousers on the floor my pockets are empty, got no money any more. Financial decline is it just a state of mind? Or is it why I quit having sugar in my tea? Some say I'm sweet enough but I can feel rough. when I wake up in the morning tasting beer on my teeth. When I wake up and find my trousers on the floor my pockets are empty, got no money any more. I don't feel mugged cause I've got enough love to make it all up for every penny I've been robbed. GOT ENOUGH, GOT ENOUGH, YEAH I GOT ENOUGH, GOT ENOUGH LOVE TO SATISFY ME. I spent all my money but I'm still happy. I've set my self up so I can have a good life. I've got my guitar, got health and not wealth, I've got enough love to satisfy me. GOT ENOUGH, GOT ENOUGH, YEAH I GOT ENOUGH, GOT ENOUGH LOVE TO SATISFY ME.

You spend the night in a haunted house. Just to see a spectacle. You've paid the bill and the lights are off. Feeling slightly sceptical A hypnotic narcotic, Scared so stiff your robotic. There's a feeling makes you sick Can you really handle this? Now's the time to open up your mind. Do you see between the line. Your feeling something deep inside. You've never felt more alive. WE'RE KILLING IT, WE'RE KILLING IT (It's in your head) THE THRILL OF IT, THE THRILL OF IT (The sleepless bed) You spent the the night in a haunted house. Looking for that big thrill. Paid the cost, your thoughts are lost. Swallowing a bitter pill. A dark tonic, demonic Running out supersonic There’s a feeling that makes you sick Now your scared out your wits. Now's the time to open up your mind. Do you see between the line. Your feeling something deep inside. You've never felt more alive. WE'RE KILLING IT, WE'RE KILLING IT (It's in your head) THE THRILL OF IT, THE THRILL OF IT (The sleepless bed)

You love me in the morning but you hate me late at night if I switch out the light and give you a terrible fright. There's thoughts in my head and things I've never said. If I ignore them now it's like I'm talking to the dead. Talking to the dead on a daily basis, Like I’m jumping hurdles and I can’t embrace this. I'm talking to the dead on a daily basis, My mind is running circles and I can't erase this. THERE'S VOICES, THERE'S VOICES Oooooooo Oooo La La La La Another day is dawning, which will soon turn into night, So will we see the light? Or is the end almost in sight? I lie awake in bed, think about the things I’ve said, what’s real or in my mind, It’s like I’m talking to the dead. Talking to the dead on a daily basis, Like I’m jumping hurdles and I can’t embrace this. I'm talking to the dead on a daily basis, My mind is running circles and I can't erase this. THERE'S VOICES, THERE'S VOICES Oooooooo Oooo La La La La

I've been doing some thinking about those books we know so well. What's the path to heaven? Where's the road to Hell? I've asked so many questions about this life of mine. Are the answers in the skyline or are they carved in time? Do we see with our eyes or do we use our soul? Do we live our lives with someone in control? Are we bound by religion or material ties? When it's our turn to die, will we find out what lies? I’ve been doing some thinking about what I believed was real. Is Science really closer to what we think we feel? If we have all the answers will we see them in time? Or is a new day dawning when we open up our minds? Do we see with our eyes or do we use our soul? Do we live our lives with someone in control? Are we bound by religion or material ties? When it's our turn to die, will we find out what lies?

No Daemons 03:47
LIFE IS SO INNOCENT, LIFE IS SO SWEET, HE AINT GOT NO DAEMONS, NO DEVIL IS HE. It was a cold winters day, We’re stuck in the house. There's ice on the pavement and snow falling down. Must have been a weekend, Cause she was off work. I’ll cuddle her closely and say this out loud. “You know babe I love you, And we're getting old. You give me the right signs, And we'll settle down. We'll be together, We made it through this. Our whole lives ahead of us We're happy with it.” LIFE IS SO INNOCENT, LIFE IS SO SWEET, HE AINT GOT NO DAEMONS, NO DEVIL IS HE. We'll start our family, know it will last. Bound by what life brings We’ll make it through that. We'll keep it cool now, On the right path. Ride all our good luck, With tears and our laughs. We know the difference Between make believe and real. I'll clean the kitchen you cook the meal. Got all we've got now That is enough, To ride out the bad times Love can be tough. LIFE IS SO INNOCENT, LIFE IS SO SWEET, HE AINT GOT NO DAEMONS, NO DEVIL IS HE.
